I have taught many students from my community, and one recurring thing they tell me is that they rarely forget what I teach. I have a somewhat unorthodox way of teaching. I first make my students try on their own, and only if they fail twice do I step in with the answer. I believe this helps them build a strong foundation for future studies and improves their problem-solving skills.I never had tutors myself, so whenever I didn’t understand something, I had to look for answers online because my teachers rarely addressed questions in depth. Today, however, I see a lot of spoon-feeding in education, and many students don’t get the chance to struggle and learn properly. I want to teach students not only the subject itself but also how to work hard, think independently, and solve problems on their own.
